Following my previous article about the top trends from the 2026 Salon International de la Lingerie, I wanted to share some extra photos from my very favourite brand that I saw there: Maria Lucia Hohan.
This brand was a new discovery for me, but it was founded in 2003 (in Bucharest). The lingerie line, however – which is referred to in some places as Madame Lucia – was added much more recently. Maria Lucia Hohan primarily focuses on dresses, both of the glamorous evening/cocktail variety and a range of unique dresses for fashionable brides.
That means a lot of very structured bodices, which has translated through into a lingerie collection that’s heavy on corsetry elements. Also carried over is the brand’s signature sense of drama, thanks to fun silhouettes and statement materials that range from wet-look shine to glittering lace, to vibrantly-coloured satins.

There are lighter pieces too, such as lacy bralettes and delicate silk mousseline robes, but I think it’s the basques where Maria Lucia Hohan lingerie really shines. Well, those and the bra top-stitched with concentric hearts – equally bold and breathtaking.
All in all, this is a lingerie range that is just pure playfulness and fantasy. A ‘suspender belt’ but the suspenders are extra-long beaded fringing? A basque with the plungiest of plunge necklines and heart-shaped hip arches? Knickers with a wet-look front panel that’s subtly in the shape of a kitten? Yes please to all of it!

The current Maria Lucia Hohan lingerie collection is priced from 99€ for velvet tie-side knickers through to 1,140€ for one of the corseted basques. Whether that’s in your budget or you just want to daydream, it’s well worth taking a look at more of the range over on her website. The photos above are just a small selection of what was on display at the show.
Let me know which of the styles there or photographed above is your favourite!
