There is an absolute dearth of yellow lingerie, the amount of time I spent researching this list is testament to that. I guess it must not sell well on the whole – is it because people worry it’s going to make them look sickly or sallow? I know I avoided the colour all through my teens because “gingers can’t wear yellow” but now it’s one of my very favourite colours, second only to red. It can be toned down and elegant, or it can really make a statement. Zesty yellows are bold, powerful, fun, playful… I really wish more lingerie brands would embrace this awesome colour!
