Today’s post is a follow-up to my recent one on gold-coloured lingerie. Because this other classic metallic can be just as beautiful and luxe! And, I would argue, even more perfect for the festive season. There’s just this definite wintery, ice-queen type vibe that comes with silver.
It turns out that it’s not quite so popular as gold as a lingerie colour, so this list is a little shorter. And in various shades that range from pale grey-ish to smokey silvers, to futuristic foil.

Oh, I love silver and it’s a shame that it isn’t used in lingerie and lounge wear more then it is.
I have never heard of Katana Femme before but that robe seems lovely and I fell in love with their Toxic Lavendel robe in purple with silver lace on the sleeves and a belt that is silver on one side and purple on the other :).

Katana Femme is a new discovery for me too. Their robes seem like great value, although they do have them all available in a choice of silk-blend or pure silk, and it’s not clear which fabric they’re using in the photos. I’d recommend asking for a fabric sample before purchasing if you’re thinking of buying one and want to be sure of what you’re getting.
