Harlow & Fox is one of those brands I’ve lusted after endlessly, but always assumed I’d never actually own. The label is about as luxurious as lingerie can get, creating utterly indulgent pieces from silk and exquisite laces.

If you’re considering launching your own lingerie line, there’s a lot to think about. How are you going to fund this venture? What’s going to make your brand different and desirable? Where will you be selling? And of course, one of the most practical concerns of all – how are you actually going to make everything?

Femme Aubade is made from a combination of jacquard satin and sheer, geometric Leavers lace that incorporates a hint of metallic thread. Right away, this set looked luxurious. Everywhere you look, there’s a beautiful little detail – the little gold buttons, the delicately scalloped cup edges, the straps…

Latex has increasingly become a more mainstream fabric in the fashion industry, and my own collection has slowly grown over the past year or so. Most recently I was offered a piece to review by Honour, a British-based company who specialise in fetishwear, toys, and accessories.

Solstice Intimates is an independent, American lingerie brand based in Arizona. Bright and whimsical, it brings deliciously retro patterns to contemporary lingerie styles. Thanks to their unique designs and their prominent use of velvet, I’ve been a fan of Solstice for a while.

My final gift guide of the year is here, and it’s one for all of you who really want to treat someone (or yourself!) this year. The majority of the items are made from real silk, and some of the laces are breathtakingly beautiful. From comfy sleepwear to dramatic robes, there’s something here to suit most lifestyles.

With little more than a week left to go until Christmas, it’s time for my second annual gift guide. I love this price range, because it’s within reach for many people but also enough to find something that feels luxurious.
