VienneMilano is a hosiery brand that I first discovered many moons ago, when I fell in love with a pair of their sparkly silver hold-ups (sadly no longer available). The new AW18 collection has just dropped, including the launch of the brand’s first ever plus-sized range.

Vixen & Fox is a newly-launched, Australian label that aims to fill a specific need in your lingerie drawer – good-quality, timeless-looking basics. Instead of debuting with lots of items, the brand has designed a capsule collection of four simple pieces that you can mix and match.

I’ve always been curious about mesh corsets. I like the appearance of them – almost like a skeleton of a ‘real’ corset – and the way you can layer one over your outfit without covering it up. The promise of breathability appeals too; it’s around 30°C here most days lately.

Myla’s back! After more than a year of radio silence on social media and no new product releases, the brand has deleted everything and announced an “all new Myla, coming soon”. Though their website is currently just a holding page, the new AW18 collection is already available to buy at Selfridges.

Aerie’s latest campaign is going viral, and you’ll love the reason why. The lingerie brand is sending a clear message of body positivity and inclusivity. Presented on their website and all of their marketing are models who have a variety of medical disabilities or illnesses.

Brighton Lace is an independent lingerie brand based in, you guessed it, Brighton in the UK. With the motto “enjoy being you”, it’s all about celebrating your natural beauty, no padding or push-up required.

I fell in love with the dark, otherwordly air of Creepyyeha’s designs, and knew I had to have the Ravish Me set. It’s one of her classics, and I loved it from the moment I put it on. It comes in black and white, but I chose the black version for the way it contrasts with my skin tone.

With the fashion industry being the second largest contributor to global pollution, it’s comforting to know that brands are taking steps towards reducing their carbon footprint. One of the biggest recommendations is to buy second hand or vintage clothing, but this isn’t always ideal when it comes to underwear.
