When it comes to floral prints, many of them just don’t stand out to me at all. I’m not keen on small prints (‘ditsy’ florals) which I think look a bit dated, and others I just find rather boring. After all, there are a lot of flowery prints out there in the world, so more often than not it just looks like something I’ve seen a million times before.
However, I’ve come to realise that I do actually love florals, if they’re the right ones. Detailed, realistically-coloured prints have a richness and a depth that just looks incredible on the body, like a wearable oil painting or illustration from a botany book. I have one such floral lingerie set on my wishlist but, since summer seems to have finally arrived to the UK, today I’m rounding up my favourite one-piece swimsuits with eye-catching, botanical-inspired floral prints…
