I’ve always been curious about mesh corsets. I like the appearance of them – almost like a skeleton of a ‘real’ corset – and the way you can layer one over your outfit without covering it up. The promise of breathability appeals too; it’s around 30°C here most days lately.

Myla’s back! After more than a year of radio silence on social media and no new product releases, the brand has deleted everything and announced an “all new Myla, coming soon”. Though their website is currently just a holding page, the new AW18 collection is already available to buy at Selfridges.

This is one of the looks I featured in my 2018 swimwear lust list, and the only one I’ve bought so far. Normally, I wouldn’t review something I’ve decided not to keep. I feel like you need to wear and wash a garment at least a few times before you can properly judge it. But ever so occasionally, I’ll briefly get my hands on a piece of lingerie that is so special I want to write about it anyway.
