Yay, it’s finally summer! Now that the weather is hotting up, my blog post on 35 stylish, modest swimwear options from 2016 is getting a bunch of hits again. However whilst some of those pieces are still available to buy, many are not. So I thought an updated 2018 version of the list was in order.

My previous blog post was all about ColieCo, so now seemed like a good time to review the set I bought from this brand earlier in the year. An independent label that I’ve been following for a couple of years, it’s headed up by designer Nicole Neaber and is sustainably-handmade in Portugal.
I’ve always had a thing for sumptuous, ruffly knickers (they are excellent for creating the illusion of bigger curves) but these ones are especially gorgeous. The rows of leaf-shaped cut-outs make them feel like something out of a fairytale – lingerie for a pixie or a wood elf.
Chances are you’ve heard that singer and fashion icon Rihanna is launching a lingerie lingerie, and now it’s here! Savage X Fenty went live today, currently only available through that website and a Brooklyn-based pop-up ending tomorrow…
It’s no secret that I adore bows. I’m also a sucker for anything with fancy metal hardware on it. So when I saw Mimi Holliday’s Hide and Seek set, with its gold metal bow detailing, I knew it had to be mine.
I’ve been researching swimsuits and bikinis with the intention of buying a couple for the summer ahead, and thought I’d share my favourites with you here.
LIVY is a brand I came across very recently, and which instantly caught my eye. Based in France, it was founded last year by Lisa Chavy, Head of Design at high-street lingerie brand Undiz and a previous lingerie designer for luxury brands such as Dior and Cacharel.
I’m going through something of a sheer mesh phase right now. I’m late to the trend, I know. But there’s something particularly entrancing to me about this barely-there fabric – especially when it forms a backdrop for stunning embroidery work.
We recently, finally moved into our own place here in Spain, after many months of living with my in-laws. I’m still busy unpacking suitcases, but of course, one of the first things I did was pick out a place to put my lingerie collection. I realised there’s a rather a lot of it that I haven’t worn for quite some time…
My move to Barcelona got off to a serendipitous start last year when I was contacted by Sofía Luzón, a local designer who had at the time just debuted her brand. I instantly fell in love with the 12-piece collection, which focusses on elegant, simple shapes crafted from silk satin and luxurious, European-made laces.
