As with other recent years, I’ve bought very little new lingerie in 2025. I’m just being a lot more truthful with myself about what my wardrobe is really lacking – and underwear it most definitely is not! But one thing I have wanted for a very long time, even if I didn’t need it, is more Bordelle in my life.

One thing I do not personally appreciate is constantly looking for ways to hide my bra straps and band. So, what if I told you that some designers have created bra bands and straps that are meant to be showcased as fashion statements within your outfits?

What’s a suspender belt lover to do when the weather’s too hot for hosiery? Double garters! Once an old-fashioned thing that only brides still wore, the trend for strappy, elastic lingerie has brought leg garters back into style again.

Rapture and Repent immediately caught my eye for its darkly original, fetish-inspired designs. The designer, Monika Cibulskis, first started selling lingerie and accessories while studying fashion at Ryerson University in Canada.

I fell in love with the dark, otherwordly air of Creepyyeha’s designs, and knew I had to have the Ravish Me set. It’s one of her classics, and I loved it from the moment I put it on. It comes in black and white, but I chose the black version for the way it contrasts with my skin tone.
