I always seem to get around to these trend posts months and months after I mean to. But this time at least that’s a good thing, because what was previously only a minor trend is really taking off this season. So I’ve got lots of looks to show you!
I’m talking, if you missed the title, about starry lingerie. Specifically, repeated star motifs that are embroidered on, or in some cases made of glitter or flocked velvet. Though I’m sure it’s out there somewhere, I didn’t actually come across any star-print lingerie while researching this piece. Instead, it’s a trend that’s all about luscious texture.
Personally, I’m a mega-fan. Star patterns are definitely my thing, and I still regret not buying Mimi Holliday’s Deadly Nightshade set from their A/W15 collection. The new, beige-and-white iteration below is not quite so ‘me’, but it is still super pretty.
