ZO Lingerie is a new, independent lingerie brand based in Ukraine. It’s so new in fact that you can’t buy the products online just yet, but because you’re one of my very lovely readers you do have the chance to win one!
ZO is founder Zofiia Koltun’s first foray into the world of intimates – she studied engineering, not contour fashion – but is a “dream come true” for the fledgling designer who’s as passionate about fine quality and finishings as she is about the way lingerie looks. ZO is, in her words, “all about being “handmade”… Luxury is defined by the time that is dedicated into creating a fine garment using exclusive techniques – to produce a delicate piece of lingerie on a loom and to model it on the body. This is the true essence of ‘luxury’, and ZO is all about luxury“.

When you look at ZO’s debut collection, the first thing that strikes you is the laces. The silhouettes are all kept relatively simple,which lets the fabrics speak for themselves. I particularly love the shell-coloured Elegance body with its decadent, peacock-feather lace, a motif which is repeated (and somewhat cheekily-placed!) on the fragile-looking Dreamer crop.
Zofiia sources her fabrics from factories in France and Italy, seeking out the finest Chantilly laces, the softest meshes and the silkiest of silks. The lingerie is then handmade with absolute attention to detail; “ZO expresses the spirit of atelier couture“, says Koltun.

One of the things that I’m really drawn to in these images is the delicacy of the edges on pieces like the Dreamer crop (which even has unhemmed shoulder openings). It was a great design choice, I think, to avoid heavy trims which might overpower and detract from the rest of the garment. The same goes for the simple, understated strapping details on the Elegance body and the Grace Coral bra set.
Other pieces that I really like are the Sensual body with its on-trend, high-cut legline, and for me personally the navy Azure set because I love that fancy, eyelash lace trim. The opaque, sporty-looking Kate crop doesn’t gel particularly well with the rest of the collection, but taken on its own I do like it too. The ‘underboob’ cut-out is a miniature trend I’m seeing more and more of lately, and it’s cool!

Oh my goodness, I just love your blog for introducing me to SO many gorgeous new brands! But now you’re asking me to pick a favourite of these?! I so badly want to say one of the bodysuits – the Sensual one with the low back especially! But I have such a bodysuit addiction and not enough opportunities to wear them, so I think I’ll go with another favourite – the Kate crop. It’s very different to everything else out there are the moment so I’d love to try it 🙂

Ooh, it’s a toss up between the Kate Crop and the Body Elegance suit. Both are unique in design and the peacock motif is something I haven’t seen before. Since I’ve just been on a bodysuit bender, imma go with the Kate cos I’ve been searching for that luxurious athleisure vibe.

I love the Dream Crop. Sweet, sexy, a little unexpected. It looks flattering too!
My favorite would be the sensual body suit. I love how it could give you a sense of confidence and security while it’s holds your body snugly together, but at the same time you would feel sexy and powerful with its beautiful black shear material. It’s clean lines and gorgeous simple design makes it a staple piece in anyone’s collection.

The ones I like best are the ZO Body Elegance and the Grace Coral Set.
In my opinion, the Elegance Body really stands out since the delicate lace is not “overused”,so you can actually focus on those beautiful peacock feathers. The clean mesh and the thin straps on the back provide not only a nice contrast, but add to the design.
The Grace Coral Set is my absolute favourite so far, the colour is so vibrant and will look summerly and fresh on all skintones. Also, I just love corset knickers – they are comfortable and fun at the same time, and very well combined with that front closing bralette. Again, the contrast between the dark straps and the light lace does it for me and this ensemble really liftens the mood!

The pieces I like best are the ZO Body Elegance and the Grace Coral Set.
For me, the Elegance Body stands out, since the delicate lace is not “overused”, but is given the attention it needs and brings out that beautiful peacock pattern. The clean mesh provides a very nice contrast and adds to the whole design.
My favourite Set so far is the Grace Coral Set, espeacially since the colour is so vibrant and will probably look fresh and summerly on all skintones. Everything is so beautiful!! I really love the 2 piece sets like the Zofi or the Joan because the top would look amazing as outerwear. But my favourite is the Zo sensual body: I like its simple, yet striking design, with the clean and geometric lines provided by the straps. Also, the low cut armhole makes it slightly irreverent and playful. Great collection! 😛

The simple cross over to the sheer mesh is just amazing. The possibilities is endless. A simple black bra underneath, no bra and a jacket, paired with jeans, denim shorts or something third. Put the body at the center of the outfit with keeping everything simple, or have it as just as another piece in the outfit.

All pieces in this collection ate beautiful, but I especially love the crop top. Or the low back body suit. Both mix partial coverage with revealing skin.
I’m tied between the Kate crop and the Sophie set. Kate looks like something I would wear often, most likely to lounge around with a sweatshirt over it. Sophie is delicate and cheeky, and would be a great boudoir set. Love the peacock feather lace, but I would prefer to have it as a V down the front of a bodysuit, or on the back, so I could wear it in public.
I love the Elegance body, but I wish it came in black. The Azure ZO set is also beautiful. The Kate set is closer to something I’d actually wear though.

The Elegance bodysuit is beautiful. I love the neckline especially. I also tend to covet bodysuits over other pieces because I have yet to find one that actually fits me, since I’m fairly tall. Always wanting what we can’t have and all that jazz.

Congratulations on a beautifully designed first collection! The pieces all balance really well with each other and particularly love how the heavier crop tops play with proportions to the thin sides of the briefs.
