Lounge is a very trendy brand with pretty affordable, high street-level pricing (£25-£45 for bras), so I was interested to learn whether there was any emphasis on quality and fit or only aesthetics.

One thing I do not personally appreciate is constantly looking for ways to hide my bra straps and band. So, what if I told you that some designers have created bra bands and straps that are meant to be showcased as fashion statements within your outfits?

I wanted to highlight the bras I consistently reach for in the mornings, because what better endorsement for a garment or a brand than to say I actually wear it a ton? So here, in no particular order, are 10 bras whose combination of fit, comfort and practicality have made them become my everyday staples.

Inamorata London is a lingerie brand created by independent UK retailer Naughty Knickers, which they launched with the goal of expanding their size range. Pieces are available from a 30B to 38G, and from XS to 2XL. I picked the Aster set to review because I couldn’t resist the pretty embroidery.

Although oodles of support is no longer what I really look for in a bra, I had a Panache bra back when I was pregnant and have also tried, and been impressed by, their Cleo by Panache line. This is a brand that combines a wealth of fit expertise with great fabric choices, to create full-bust lingerie that isn’t boring.
