At the end of summer, luxury lingerie brand Harlow & Fox launched a flash sample sale. It coincided with the first day of a holiday for me but, like the lingerie-obsessed person that I am, I took my phone to the beach to make sure I got first dibs on what was going.

Studio Pia’s SS19 collection was incredible – and hard to follow. A little bit of me did wonder if this designer, as talented as she obviously is, could ever create another collection as stunningly good as that one. But then I caught a glimpse of this season’s gold chain embroidery in an Insta story, and I knew right away that she had.

A couple of summers ago, Chantelle sent me this bra set for an Instagram collaboration. Since then, it’s become one of my most regularly-worn sets – so much so, that I decided I would really be doing you all a disservice if I didn’t properly review it.

If there’s one lingerie brand in the world that truly deserves to call itself iconic, it’s Agent Provocateur. Even its packaging is instantly recognisable – a pink box and black ribbon that have become synonymous with beautiful underthings and self-indulgence.

Beginning with a primary focus on lingerie pieces, Amoralle now describe their designs as “boudoir inspired”, which most recently has resulted in the Aristocratic Seduction collection consisting of fantastic dresses and robes accompanied by various accessories.

Studio Pia is something special. I’ve liked every single design they have launched to date, and that’s unusual. And that has only become truer than ever with the new Spring/Summer 2019 collection, which is my favourite yet.

Harlow & Fox is one of those brands I’ve lusted after endlessly, but always assumed I’d never actually own. The label is about as luxurious as lingerie can get, creating utterly indulgent pieces from silk and exquisite laces.

My final gift guide of the year is here, and it’s one for all of you who really want to treat someone (or yourself!) this year. The majority of the items are made from real silk, and some of the laces are breathtakingly beautiful. From comfy sleepwear to dramatic robes, there’s something here to suit most lifestyles.

Lately, a desire for visible branding has reached the world of lingerie. Influenced by both the rise of sporty, athleisure-wear and the 90s fashion revival (think Kate Moss in Calvin Klein logo-waistband briefs), logo elastic trims are everywhere right now. But that’s not the trend that this article is about.

What do you do when you can’t find your favourite lingerie brands in your country? Well for one Portugal-based woman named Kia, the answer was to launch her own boutique! The result is Killed In Action, an online store focussed on high-end, high-fashion lingerie.
