Ever since I first moved to Spain, I’ve regretted leaving my fluffy dressing gown behind. I guess I thought I wouldn’t need it but the reality of living here is that it’s not all sunshine, all the time. Stealing my husband’s hoodies was no longer cutting it, so this Christmas just gone, a cosy robe was top of my wishlist.

It’s definitely winter now in the Northern Hemisphere, especially here in Scotland where temperatures are regularly dipping below 0°C come nighttime. Robes are fantastic. I keep saying it, but they really are. They’re one of the few lingerie items that are super practical and super glam – when you’re feeling cold and lazy at home (that’s me, all the time) you can wrap up in a pretty robe to stay cosy and comfy, whilst still looking like you’re dressed to the nines.
