Lately, I’ve found myself wearing slips more than anything else in my wardrobe – including bras! Like robes, they’re easy to throw on in the morning as loungewear, and I also style many of them as outerwear simply by adding a strapless bra underneath and a skirt on top.

One of the few good things to come out of 2020 was TéAmore. With a size range focussed on fuller busts (up to a UK FF / US H) and designs that are breathtakingly beautiful, it seems that they’re doing for the US full bust market what Harlow & Fox has done for the UK one.

Ask me to name any one robe I’d love to wish into my wardrobe, and there’s a good chance I’d pick one by Apilat. This independent Ukranian brand is creating some of the most breathtakingly beautiful loungewear in the industry, and they only seem to get better with each passing season.

When Myla relaunched in 2018 after a lengthy hiatus I… was not the biggest fan. Since then though, the brand has been growing on me once again. In particular, Columbia Road has become a signature style that they re-release over and over in new and always-interesting colourways.

From saturated aqua and turquoise shades to a true primary blue, this summer lingerie trend feels fresh, fun and statement-making. It’s been picked up by budget-friendly and luxury brands alike; here are 18 of my favourite looks to check out, from everyday basics to fancier sets.

I’m not quite sure what to call this new(ish) loungewear trend – it’s not ‘animal print’ in the typical sense, so I’m going with ‘animal illustration’ instead. Emblazoned with repeating motifs – most frequently snakes, zebras or big cats – these pieces will add heaps of fun to your homewear wardrobe!

Underwired bras seem to be the Marmite of the lingerie world. But what do these love-’em-or-hate-’em wires do? You probably know that they play a role in adding support to the bra, but how do they do it?

These past six months or so have been some of my best ever in the lingerie industry, both in terms of my blog and as a freelance writer, which is great of course – but it also means that I once again find myself incredibly busy and in need of some hired assistance!

Sustainable lingerie options are becoming increasingly easier to find – and increasingly stylish too. But if you’re thinking ‘sustainable’ automatically equals expensive, and that’s out of your price range, then you’ll be glad to know that there are brands making eco-friendly lingerie accessible for all budgets.

As the global lingerie market continues to increase in value, new and potentially-major players are entering the industry, from SavageX to Zara to Amazon. So I got curious – could Amazon truly become a leading lingerie destination?
