In case you’re new around here and haven’t seen the numerous times I’ve gushed over this brand before, the ethically-made indie label Love & Swans is truly one of the most exciting lingerie brands to come out of the 2020s so far, and now it’s getting even better with the launch of swimwear.

The first time I saw the Sans Peur collection from Âme Nue Intimates, it took my breath away. The brand itself is named after the French phrase meaning “naked soul”, and each piece in this new collection does an excellent job of conveying both the power and vulnerability behind that idea.

Allow me to introduce you to what I’m already positive will be one of my very favourite collections of the Autumn/Winter 2021 season: Regalia by Studio Pia. It’s inspired by “the decadence and lavish excess of royal court dressing” and, as ever, is centered around some incredible bespoke embroideries.

Ask me to name any one robe I’d love to wish into my wardrobe, and there’s a good chance I’d pick one by Apilat. This independent Ukranian brand is creating some of the most breathtakingly beautiful loungewear in the industry, and they only seem to get better with each passing season.

What Dorina does best is ‘not-so-basic basics’, ultra-wearable everyday pieces that will still make you feel chic and pretty. It’s the kind of thing you can treat yourself to for Valentine’s, without worrying that it’s only going to get worn once and then forgotten about.

SADA by Sarah is a relatively new brand to come to my attention, but that I hope to see featured a lot more in the years to come. Designer Sarah Dawson creates her signature pieces in Brooklyn, New York, after realising her passion for designing intimate apparel while studying the city’s Fashion Institute of Technology.

My absolute favourite thing about Instagram is how often I discover new lingerie brands over there, and Love & Swans is one such treasure that made its way onto my feed shortly after its February launch. I was instantly besotted with their beaded embroideries.

This seems a strange time to be writing about a swimwear brand. I think maybe I’m living vicariously through Deakin & Blue’s product imagery, because I’ve found myself repeatedly checking out their website since I discovered the brand just over a month ago.

While I love Lydia’s design aesthetic, the main reason I enjoy her social media is her commitment to inclusivity when it comes to those she creates for. Every piece of lingerie is made to your own measurements, which you provide during the ordering process.

Chromat’s Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook, for their collection SS20: Ten, is more than simply a preview of another season’s styles. The release of this collection marks the brand’s 10 year anniversary. It’s a birthday party, and Chromat is ready to celebrate!
