Luxury lingerie brand Prelude has been on the outskirts of my radar for a while, for designing some incredibly beautiful pieces. It’s hard to pick a favourite from the Noir Fatal collection, but I’m definitely swooning over the high-neck bra (subtly decked out in Swarovski crystals) and high-waist knicker combination.

The second I stumbled across Dorshelle Guillaume, I fell in love. The designs are simply breathtaking, every single one of them an ornate and unique showstopper. There’s a level of decadence and attention to detail here that is rare even amongst luxury lingerie brands, from lusciously-embellished fabrics to beaded fringing.

While I love Lydia’s design aesthetic, the main reason I enjoy her social media is her commitment to inclusivity when it comes to those she creates for. Every piece of lingerie is made to your own measurements, which you provide during the ordering process.

I first heard of Queen of Suburbia back in 2016, when the brand was just getting started. The designer behind the brand, Megan, was a lingerie blogger for a few years before she decided to start making her own lingerie, which she now sells through her website and Etsy store.

I had planned to write about another lingerie brand today, but I stumbled across Ami Muse Studio via an Instagram advert yesterday and simply had to share them with you. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, the brand was launched last year and has already appeared in Vogue and been picked up by Matches Fashion.

Chromat’s Spring/Summer 2020 lookbook, for their collection SS20: Ten, is more than simply a preview of another season’s styles. The release of this collection marks the brand’s 10 year anniversary. It’s a birthday party, and Chromat is ready to celebrate!

Founded in 1957 in Sweden, Miss Mary is a brand that aims to create ‘world class lingerie’. To them, that means an emphasis on three things: optimal comfort, a timeless design, and the perfect fit. Nailing the fit is no easy task considering their impressive size range, which spans UK 10 to 28, band sizes 32 to 52, and cup sizes A-J.

Launched in 2002, Lavinia Lingerie is a retailer to keep on your radar if you love embroidery, lace, and intricate detail. Based in the US but with a product range that meshes together a few North American brands with dozens of European ones, their focus is on lingerie that’s as uniquely-styled as it is supportive.

The world is filled with cookie-cutter lingerie boutiques. As much as I love bra shopping, it does get somewhat less exciting when every boutique I walk into is carrying the same selection of products. That’s why I was so intrigued to learn about Les Rituelles.
