Latex has increasingly become a more mainstream fabric in the fashion industry, and my own collection has slowly grown over the past year or so. Most recently I was offered a piece to review by Honour, a British-based company who specialise in fetishwear, toys, and accessories.

Bijoux Indiscrets is a Barcelona-based brand creating lingerie-adjacent accessories, from pasties to harnesses to delicate body chains. 2018 marks twelve years since they launched, and to celebrate they’ve created 12 Sexy Days, a large and luxurious gift box.

Some of you may recall the full-bust lingerie brand Louise Ferdinand, which has now closed down. It was owned by Sandra Palmer, and 1st Man 1st Woman is her new venture. It’s a swimwear brand that launched in 2016, and unlike the earlier lingerie, it’s focussed on a core size range of XS to XL.

Vixen & Fox is a newly-launched, Australian label that aims to fill a specific need in your lingerie drawer – good-quality, timeless-looking basics. Instead of debuting with lots of items, the brand has designed a capsule collection of four simple pieces that you can mix and match.

I’ve always been curious about mesh corsets. I like the appearance of them – almost like a skeleton of a ‘real’ corset – and the way you can layer one over your outfit without covering it up. The promise of breathability appeals too; it’s around 30°C here most days lately.

Brighton Lace is an independent lingerie brand based in, you guessed it, Brighton in the UK. With the motto “enjoy being you”, it’s all about celebrating your natural beauty, no padding or push-up required.

I fell in love with the dark, otherwordly air of Creepyyeha’s designs, and knew I had to have the Ravish Me set. It’s one of her classics, and I loved it from the moment I put it on. It comes in black and white, but I chose the black version for the way it contrasts with my skin tone.

This is one of the looks I featured in my 2018 swimwear lust list, and the only one I’ve bought so far. It was both one of my very favourites and one of the most affordable, so it didn’t take much to convince me. Shortly after I bought it, this bikini went on sale, making it now an even more budget-friendly £22.50.

Normally, I wouldn’t review something I’ve decided not to keep. I feel like you need to wear and wash a garment at least a few times before you can properly judge it. But ever so occasionally, I’ll briefly get my hands on a piece of lingerie that is so special I want to write about it anyway.

I received this set in a subscription box. I had no idea what was going to be inside, and it’s not something I’d ever have chosen for myself. The shape, the colour… it’s just not my usual style. But it fit well and felt comfy on, so I started wearing it, and then something strange happened – I realised I’d actually been wearing it a LOT.
